Luzula acuminata (Hairy Wood Rush)

Another good Warren Woods plant is Luzula acuminata in the Juncaceae. It is often found near the summit of steep ravine slopes, and is far less common than L. multiflora.

Nice picture Keith- I hope you don't mind me mentioning this, but I think your camera white balance may be off a little, all of your images seem to be too reddish. I'm guessing it is set to shade or something like that. Maybe it got kicked off the auto setting.
