I'm going with Aralia nudicaulis. The leaves are dormant by the time the fruit ripens.

Inflorescence and habitat seem strange for Aralia nudicaulis... how about Aralia hispida?

Aralia hispida seems to make more sense. I will withdraw Aralia nudicaulis and bow to Scott's superior knowledge of the subject. Can thoust forgive me?

Wait, where did you get habitat info?

I inferred habitat from the photo. It just seemed to rocky and open for where I normally see A. nudicaulis. Thoughts?

Thanks. That was quick. I added a picture so you could see more of the habitat.
